Crown Reduction

Crown Reduction reduces the overall canopy of the tree by reducing the tips of the branches to a lateral branch ideally no less than 1/3 of the diameter of the parent branch.Crown reductions should ideally remove no more than 30% of the tree's leaf area as any more than 30% can have an adverse effect on the tree.

Crown Thinning

Crown thinning is the removal of suitable branches throughout the crown of the tree to reduce the density of the crown with a view to increasing light penetration and allow airflow through the canopy.And also remove any conflicting branches that may be causing damage by rubbing against each other or the tree's trunk.

Crown Lifting

Crown Lifting is the removal of the tree's lower branches.Often due to them causing obstructions along highways and footpaths,to gain clearance above structures, because they are blocking views or reducing light.

Crown Restoration

Crown Restoration is carried out to rectify storm damaged or badly puned(topped) tree's and restore them to a safer and more natural looking form.

Crown Cleaning/Dead Wooding

Crown Cleaning or Dead Wooding is the removal of any dead,diseased or dying branches from the tree's canopy or the removal of unwanted Epicormic growth from previous pruning cuts.
